Another day of STAAR testing. I woke up and then went to Andy’s house around 9 to chill. Jimmy came later! I tried to study my quotes and what not (since I didn’t do it last night) but I was too lazy. :P We went to Wendy’s right before our test then it was time for Paper 2 of English.
WHAT THE FUCK!!! The prompts did not go in favor towards my quotes. Oh well! I wrote the best that I could. At least I’m done with English now! I went home afterwards and got everything I needed for the FBLA banquet and I got there around 5.
It was time for the last banquet of my high school career! Well at least the last one I take part in planning and what not. I got the red carpet ready (Justin Bieber wrapping paper, LOL). Got the music ready. Hid the scavenger hunt items. Got the awards ready. All before 6 and before all the people came (with the help of my officers of course). It was then time to chow down! I sat with Tung, Elizabeth T., Deanna T., Aristopher, Ramzi, Danny, and Christina. The food was really good and they had pink lemonade! :D
After eating, we had a mini photo shoot outside thanks to Kevin’s camera. The scenery and lighting was also really nice so all the pictures looked pretty legit. I was the cameraman for most of it. It was fun taking pictures of everybody!
Then it was time to start the games! We started with the baby picture celebrity slide show quiz thing. Everyone was really into it and shot up their hands real fast to answer the question. The score was really close to. The winning team winning by 1. Then we did the scavenger hunt and everyone went CRAZY trying to find all the words. Then it was time for musical chairs. Everyone was like real into it and trying to win and what not. Dale ended up winning a gift card for iTunes. :P
We did the fashion show right after and it was really fun. We got everybody to do it! Even Mrs. Schreiber and the officers did it (I did it too. TWICE!). Mrs. Schreiber ended up winning the fashion show and getting Most Likely to Dress to Impress, haha. We did the other Silly Awards and Member Recognition awards afterwards. The officers ended up choosing all the winners of the Silly Awards on the spot. XP
The officers surprised me with a special award for me. OFFICER OF THE YEAR. I felt so special and honored. :’) They gave me sour patch kids, a funny ass cards, and Tung gave me his old camera! :O Thanks so much guys! Afterwards, we inducted our new officers for the 2012-2013 school year. The officer team for the upcoming year is gonna be real good I think. I’m proud of all them!
We ended the “serious” part of the banquet by giving our farewell speeches. I asked to go last, haha. They were good, nothing special. Mines was made on the spot so it sucked. LOL. Mrs. Schreiber then presented the cords and stoles to the members and officers and gave us cake pops made by one of her students! They were pretty good too.
The banquet was officially over. I took pictures with most of the people who went there. My last banquet (sort of)! My last officer position! No more responsibilities. It’s so liberating! Haha. I had a really good time at the banquet. I hope everyone else did too! After cleaning up and hanging out with everybody, I went home and relaxed.
Oh lord! How the time passes. I’m officially done with all my officer positions. What a good way to end it with my FBLA officers. I really enjoyed working with each and every one of you all. I believe we achieved the most this year and given our chapter such a positive reputation this year. We’ve done the best; that’s all I gotta say. I’m going to miss being an officer (sort of). But now my time is down. What a way to end my 3 years in FBLA. With a bang. The best ever. I’m going to miss FBLA. But it will always hold a special place in my heart. <3

Biology zoo day in the morning! Went to school to meet up with Kevin, Jimmy, Nikki V., and Daniel. Kevin all took us to the Fort Worth Zoo! Met up with David L. and Jason there then Hoffner and Watkins walked us through the zoo, reviewing us on EVERYTHING about biology, from plants to human physiology. It was a really good review and a pretty fun trip!
Afterwards, I went home to do the Key Club Silly Award Certificates, got ready for banquet, then headed to Lam Anh’s house to print out the certificates. Her printer was being a bitch though so I headed to the hotel while she went to someone else’s house to print it.
Got to the Hilton and met up with Andy, Linh, Christina, Nikki N., and others. Basically all the current and incoming officers. We set up the banquet room and rehearsed for the banquet. The room was really nice! Setting up the AV equipment was weird though. LOL.
It was then time for the people to come! Everyone came filing in and filling up all the tables. I sat with Christy, Nikki V., Teresa, Andrew, Jimmy, Lindsay, and Andy! The food was really good too but I didn’t eat a lot. :P Just sat there, talking with random people that was there. It was nice.
Then it was time for the senior officers to give their farewell speeches. They were pretty good. No one cried though. :P Mines was alright. IT WAS CORNY. Andy’s was hilarious! And Tung’s was too! People were mocking Linh and her talking also. LOL. After that, it was then time for all the officer inductions. Next year’s officer team is really diverse and kind of weird. But I think they’ll do amazing next year! We then awarded the Silly Awards and then the dancing commenced!
I took A LOT of pictures. Using my phone. Other people’s phones. Jason’s camera. Umeh’s camera. EVERYBODY. I wanted to get as many pictures as I could with all my friends. I didn’t dance a lot either. I wobbled. Jumped around with my friends. But mostly just sat down and watched everyone else dance while chillin’ with my friends. It was fun though! Everyone was all up in the wall though. It was kinda awkward to look at. xP
Afterwards, Key Club banquet was over. Nikki N., Linh, Tram, Aristopher, Christina, Jimmy, and I all went to Christina’s house for an After-Key Club banquet party! I took Aristopher there. Fun times driving with him as always. Bouncin’ around, singin’ to random ass songs. We waited for the girls to come because they went to Kroger’s to buy root beer floats! Then Jimmy came and we played Singstar the whole time. Around midnight we were all tired and went home.
Key Club banquet was pretty fun this year! A lot of new faces here and there. It wasn’t as fun as freshman year (that was the BEST) but it was still pretty good. I’m gonna miss my Key Club officer team. We were so diverse and mixed with different personalities. But we were a good team and did a lot this year. We left a good legacy behind and I’m proud to have been an officer for this organization. This is my final farewell to Key Club. It was good. It was a blast. It was a good 4 years in this club. Adios. Adieu. Sayonara. Good-bye, Key Club. :’)
